When my head hurts
no aspirin can cast away this
overcast overhead.
I’m wearing lead boots walking through quicksand
goin’ nowhere in this No Man’s Land
Get it? No Man’s Land
cause Dad ain’t around even to
his number one fan.
That s*** blew me away.
How you gon’ shoo me away?
How you gon’ do me that way?
You was supposed to show me the
Way.
That way, I won’t end up without
Success.
Cause God knows I won’t settle for less
but I feel your love even though
we’re not connected,
like cordless.
I won’t be showing my son
an encore of this.
