1) I was born in the City of Dreams.

2) A canopy of bright faces looking down at me.
Living in a world full of sunny smiles and warm embraces.

3) Full of gleaming tears as my school years started
and I felt the ache of separation.

4) Mornings of cries turned to radiant laughter
as I experienced the happiness of friendship.

5) I found my love for letters and stories
full of skipping children and shiny swings.

6) My youth was struck with the anguish of death
when the crinkled eyes of my dog looked up at me for the last time.

7) School days filled with play time turned into
thick lectures and droopy eyes.

8) I discovered an escape from life's dreariness
when I found another life in the pages of a book.

9) I moved into the internal battle of adolescence.

10) A snowy memory of slides and swings,
longing for the days of no worries.

11) So far, so good. Luminous day and quiet nights run by and I’m trying to keep up.
