It’s a new year
Resolutions are here
I hope they stick
They are always gone so quick

Mine are a bore
Let’s cut to the core
They will not stay
I can only pray

I want to eat healthy
Or maybe even get wealthy
Being positive is another
I can’t do it says my brother

I will still try
As the days go by
It’s a new year
Resolutions are here
