Admit defeat and let me in
I’d rather not watch you sink
Although you’re poison to my blood
I’d rather disconnect than watch you drop
If you choose to go
I can’t promise I won’t forgive you
After you leave I have nothing to lose
But just know that I’m getting better
You gave me hope
These destructive thoughts still won’t let go
The slits on your wrist opened,
A new possibility for your future
You gave me hope,
But you left me here alone
