I Am Me

Some soar through the sky.
Some crawl through the grass.
Some swim with their might.
Some just sleep their way through?
But I?
I walk over the mountains,
Through the water,
But not once do I
Soar
Crawl
Swim
Or Sleep.
I am me.
They tell me step carefully.
Look ahead.
Be watchful.
I look only at what I see now.
My present is what matters.
The future?
It can wait.
I am me.
In the end,
I am the one at the top of the world.
Why?
Because I stay me.
