Sanctuary
Sanctuary
The air is hot, humid.
The room is dark, dimly lit.
The cold tiled floors are colored dully.
A giant, poisonous, cloud wanders around, invisible.
It allows itself in me, letting it settle in my lungs.
What a wonderful feeling.
In the midst of all, lies a merciless killer,
wreaking havoc all over the world.
Also my sanctuary.
My second home.
Where I go to ruthlessly tear myself apart, to become stronger.
Where my thoughts lie clear as a diamond.
My recuperation place.
My death bed.
The pool.
