You say that I'm the one to be
That you and I are meant to be
But it will never be
You and me
Because you hurt me
Turned your back on me
You told me I wasn't worth much
So I put the peddle to the metal
I adjusted the clutch
There's no point in staying where I'm not wanted
But now you say
Ever since I've been gone you've been haunted
You say you miss me
Yeah I bet you do
But it's over
You and me are through.
