Faded Grey
From glance, to glimpse,
Everywhere I gaze,
Never have I noticed vibrant colors.
All I see is the faded grey,
From the many faces that I see on a daily base.
I do not feel that we should ever define a person by the shade of their skin.
But this bad habit,
We all seem to give in.
Black, Brown, Yellow, Red, and White.
These are the vibrant colors,
That comes to the mind.
And although these colors are what we see,
We could never define a human being.
We are all spots of faded grey,
And we are bounded together in different ways.
No matter what shade of your skin,
We all have flaws that are within.
