Rules are rules and we will joke about them
I live on the corner of Amagansett Dr. East. I live where the forest is. Right across from where the deer hide from the cars. I live on the road where Rock n’ roll is the main priority. I live where the sweet guitar sound fills the houses.
I live where leaves are the pool. I live where the pool is a wrestling room and a swim meet. I live where the forest is a playground. I live where the neighbors are mysterious yet friendly.
I live where the bedroom is a dance floor and a playground and a restaurant. I live where you expect the unexpected, but unexpect the expected. I live where tackling means hello.
I live where you have to walk the dog before you get dessert. I live where dogs rule the street. I live where the game “Rosie chasing” is a past time.
I live where rules are rules and we will joke about them. I live where bikes are motorcycles. I live where you’re a part of the gang or not. I live where the dogs are mascots. I live where you cry, you’re out.
I live where “La Princesa” is being overthrown. I live where grandpa’s crazy. I live where laughs flow like rivers. I live where “Ohana means family” and “Hakuna Matata”. I live where there are sweaters for all, Human or not.
I live where you try new things like script.. I live where notebooks are like collectable cards. I live where pens and change will never be found again. I live where you know she lied because you were there.
I live where you know something the adults don’t. I live where the adults don’t tell you anything until 2 days before you leave. I live where foolishness will not be tolerated but will be enjoyed.
I live where you can do it or you can’t. I live on the street of problems and solutions. I live on the corner of Amagansett Drive East and Queens Lane. I live where memory and remembering are out the window.
