The Roads Intersect
Where the roads intersect,
is where my meek life hangs by a thread
Where the thread breaks,
I fall into depths of darkness
Where darkness poisons my veins
and tortures my body with heartwrenching pain and agony
Where pain decays my being,
until I am nothing but a cell of what once was
However the thread can mend
building a life that was once a dream
Where the heart pumps confidence, and determination through means of my veins to my finger tips
Where dignity and strength are regained,
in the center of my heart to the core of my being
Where the change of heart,
leads to the wildest ideas morphing to reality
