The Willow
On a warm summer's eve
The air is still
Suddenly, a sound
With which the whole night was filled
It was a large weeping soul
Weighed down with regret
It's enthralling,
The way they extend
Upwards, unending
They thrive primordialy,
Like a simple beings
From simpler times
And suddenly I'm surrounded,
And I can't put words to it,
Cornered by emotions unknown
But yet I know that the very same feelings will set me free
Opening a door to new possibilities
Bringing me into the world of fantasy
The willow has opened my eyes
For now I may truly see
through the leaves of that willow tree
