“The sky is the limit”

The sky is the limit that I can’t exceed
But nothing will stop me from chasing my dreams.
I’ll spread my wings; and like a dove I’ll sore.
I’ll fly higher and higher than ever before.
When things go wrong as they often will,
And the path that I’m walking seems to be all uphill;
I’ll break for a moment and find a nice place to sit,
But I will soon get up and continue; for I refuse to quit.
Towards the end of the journey
It seems that the biggest obstacle that had ever arose,
Was incomprehensibly, self imposed.
The true barrier- I can finally see,
The limit is not the sky
The limit is me.
