The Day I Die
I sit looking up at the sky
I am wondering how long will it last
How long tell it is over
I want to know when I will die
The sky does not hold
The answer for me
But looking into the night sky
It is easier to think
I think about
How will I go
Will it be fast
Or will it be slow
In the time I have
Spent thinking I could
Have done a great many things
But here I sit and think
I wonder about
It I will see it coming
Or will it be a sudden surprise
When I sleep at night
I think about
Is there a after
Will I know that I am gone
Or will I really be just a memory
Will anyone remember me
Remember the fun
Thing we did together
Or will they all forget me
I will not know until the
Day that it happens
But yet I still sit and wonder
About the day that I will die
