The bright sphere arises from
The horizon, touching the souls
Of the Earth with warmth.
Shedding light on nature and
The work of industrious human
Beings.

Peeking through to seek the
Spots covered by shade. Time
Passes slowly as the day’s
Hours get shorter and shorter.
The light moving up into the
Corner of the sky, and then
Making its way back to the
Horizon.

The sky dims to a pale navy
Blue. The sky enclosing the
Yellow light with warm colors.
Gold from the middle blending
With ever color from the
Spectrum, peach, light orange,
Red-orange, fuchsia, and baby
Pink all fading into the blue
Sky.

The colors slowly begin to drain
Out, until the sun creates one
More lasting impression of light
Before it disappears below the
Horizon.

What inspired me to write this piece is that I noticed how many pictures of sunsets I had on my phone, because they all seem to have their own uniqueness and the mixture of colors created is just gorgeous.
