Abrupt Changes
On Monday it rained
And you said you loved me
Tuesday it was snowing
And you said you'd never let me go
Wednesday, it was so cold that civilians huddled together, waddling like penguins
You claimed that we'd be together forever
Thursday the wind howled at the moon
You howled back and grasped my hand
Friday, the world was calm
You said nothing
Saturday, I began to freeze
Your words melted me until I defrosted and became a puddle of nothing
On Sunday the sun came out
You left me
