I’m sorry
Angry eyes that look back at me
empty hallways
and closing doors
Dirt
musty bedroom
burning food in the kitchen
salty
and dry
Plaster walls
old soft carpets
and clean sheets I end up crying on
The endless quietness
creaking of the wooden house
Then the yelling and loud voices
All the things I’ve become so accustomed to
