Fear Of Fear

Fear grabs you
Holding you within its grasp
As you struggle to break free
This fatherly grip
Surrounding your body

Fear stabs you
Aiming for your heart
but merely missing
Scraping

Fear weighs down heavily
And cuts deep


Fear is always awake

Fear plays a game of hide and seek
Finding you
Haunting You
Wading in the midst of it all
