Disorder
My life- (n.) A series of bullets swallowed and shots fired.

Doctor, I cannot eat the bullets today
They catch in my throat and stay,
 Stick, choking, suffocating,
 Twin barricades wait
 Anxious, in my unsteady hands
To block the vital freeway and end
 The traffic of an existence-

  I want to live.

 Lead them to my tongue
 And I, I will do as I am told, I will;
Barrel at the head, bullet to my heart, I will
Swallow your fire. Just coax the flames
 And shut my mouth.

    Don’t pull the trigger.

 I don’t want
 I don’t want to
 Do I don’t
 Want to
 Do this any
 Longer.

 No solace,
I barter with my sanity, one wound cured
 Another emerged; I am plagued
 With my own dysfunction

 I am chronic.

 Forever unhinged.
