Across the room I hear them laughing…
I peek up to see what about,
And they’re looking right at me…
I’ve done nothing to them,
Yet they laugh.
How am I sticking out among the others in this room?
My hair is just fine,
My head is down,
I tap my foot occasionally…
Yet every time I look over there,
I meet eye to eye with someone’s stare.
