My friend Nate
There once was a man so intelligent,
No problem was too difficult to solve,
He had the patience of an elephant,
In his mere presence your heart would dissolve.
The man of whom we speak has one true name,
And other names may just leave him irate,
A guy so well rounded I must proclaim,
A kind gentleman known as Nate the Great.
But how will you know when you’ve seen this man?
Do you feel all warm and fuzzy inside?
For his presence can be felt from Spokane,
And you cannot resist it – I have tried.
Intricate, complex, sophisticated,
A diva that shakes off any trouble,
Important, powerful, celebrated,
His blue eyes will cause you to see double.
Drives a Nissan Sentra, always speeding,
For law enforcement does not worry him,
And please don’t let his car be misleading,
The man paid twenty thousand for the rims.
On the gridiron Nate is a player,
A prodigy to the sport of lacrosse,
And I will fight with any naysayer,
The character has my back like Rick Ross.
Down to the facts of this peculiar man,
Almost unmatched dependability,
Agreeable guy since it all began,
Ten out of ten in friendability.
