1 The wind howled and the trees were dancing
The frosty air was biting at our ears
Jump in the car and race out the driveway
We rush to the hospital to see him

5 Our hearts are beating as loud as a drum
The room is filled with beeping machines
Our new brother wrapped in his blanket
It was the most precious sight I could see

9 The cute little hands hold on to your heart
Relatives fighting to get to the front
Everyone is dying to hold him close
It was the most precious sight I could see

13 Before you know it he starts to grow up
Blink once he takes his first wobbly steps
Blink twice he is playing in soccer games
It is the most precious sight I could see

This is a poem about the joy of new life and my little brother coming into the world.
