One More Lie
"My stomach hurts," she says to her geometry teacher, making a beeline for the bathroom to throw up her lunch.
"I'm just cold," she claims when her boyfriend asks, pulling the sleeves of her sweatshirt over her scars.
"I didn't get enough sleep last night, I'm really tired," she lies, declining her best friend's offer to go hang out.
"Just one more," she whispers to no one in particular, dragging the razor across her skin, although she knows it won't be just one more.
