Old
But holding sentimental value
Worn
But perfect in its own way
The folded lid
Folded a million times
And the little tare at the edge of the brim
The faded color of the camo
will always
Remind me of my friends and I
Who believe that we are country.
Although it feels and looks ratty
It isn’t,
Its just loved
