I turned to speak to God about the world's despair; and to make bad matters worse, I found God wasn't there. -Robert Frost

With the words you speak, you paint a picture of deceit. I just cannot bring myself to look at this image any longer. A hollowed shell is your words. String and pretty on the outside but empty and meaningless below the surface. You try to touch up your mask and continue the charade but the disguise is cracking under the weight of my realization. Like a balloon filled to capacity with thick anguish, I am easily popped by a single lie and you hold the needle of betrayal. You strike me with agile, vindictive ferocity.. POP! There I go again, deflated and defeated.

Being emotionally fragile is no easy burden. The slightest of mishaps can break a person down with ease. All it takes to destroy us is a single lie, a single betrayal.
