The Struggle of Living
She sits there
dazed
confused
not herself.
Her world spinning around her head.
Never ending.
She did not know how to make the terror cease.
The people went about their business.
Helping her up,
moving her about the room.
Not capable of doing anything
seemed to be plastered across
her body.
She could do nothing.
Helpless should be her new name.
She had forgotten everything she ever knew.
Wanted.
Dreamed of.
For the Alzheimer’s had taken over.
It was in full control.
