I’ll see you again
I walked into the hospital with hope in my heart,
but little did I know that my mother would soon depart.
The sickness was now throughout her body,
all the way from her head to her toes.
When she passed it felt like I couldn’t even cry,
I wondered what it felt like to die.
I wondered if she was okay, I prayed and prayed
that maybe, just maybe I would see her again someday.
