i have finally found sleep
I have eagerly waited for months
for sleep to arrive and take me captive--
To lock up my mind in a prison cell,
to shut my eyes and keep out the world--
And last night I slept peacefully

 Exhaustion enveloped me like a
 warm blanket
It felt so real, your arms around
 my waist, lips coaxing my
neck into a deep slumber and
 This morning I awoke, reluctantly
to a bed void of any life other
 than mine.

How I wish we could do this every
 night, my dear, never
having to worry what the morning
hold because we would be holding
 one another.
