Sometimes
Did you know that,
Sometimes,
I still think about us,
Sometimes?
In the moments
When the sun shines
Like a thousand shards of luminous crystals,
In the moments
When I feel the wind
Touch my cheeks
And kiss my forehead,
I remember,
Sometimes.
I remember
Smiles,
Laughter,
And such happiness.
But then,
When the sun retreats behind the clouds,
When the wind becomes violent and cruel,
I remember
Why we are over.
Sometimes,
I remember
Tears,
Shouts,
Lies,
Betrayal.
Then, sometimes,
I try to forget you.
But I never succeed.
