there’s wonder in her eyes,
a reflection of light
against the black marble stones
that shine through the night.
She treads through gravel
and runs on the earth,
lives for the blue skies
and woods filled with mirth.
infinite are her travels
to the foreign and unknown,
the paths without end
of histories grown.
She thirsts for knowledge,
of life at it’s peak,
her curiosity restless
against the waves of
oblivious and meek.
