Angels and Crippled Souls
I sit here
Questioning myself
As you brood
Over dark secrets
And what I may be hiding
You know
That I am crippled
In the way
I have no cure
For my disease
Provide me then
Miracle Worker
Doctor
With my prescription
With my help
But I will tell you once more
You can't help someone
Unless you get help yourself
Your aid may be angels
And that is fine
Angels are great friends
Of broken ones like us
But tell me, friend
Tell me, lover
Tell me, doctor
Parents
Siblings
If I was broken
Like I am
Wouldn't you want me
To let you help
Or at least inform you
My angels
Are that of heaven
And not that of earth
?
