Sharp, cruel, unforgiving
Cutting deep into my core
Scarring my image of myself
Killing what little self confidence I still contain
Bleeding dry every last scarlet drop of my will to live
Stealing the light from my eyes and the love my shattered heart feels
Only a hollow shell remains
No longer living, merely existing
In a world as malicious as the intent of the words
Leaving a mangled corpse in their wake
