Drops
The drops of water rush towards their impending doom.
Hard, wet concrete grins up at the droplets, greeting them like an old friend.
The drops slam against the ground with enough force to defeat the the neat sphere of liquid.
With each drop, the grounds smile shines more brightly up at the dark rolling clouds and the blinding mass of water sprinting towards it.
The lost spheres slowly latch on to their kin, as they reconnect, they fill the cracks and imperfections of the solid ground.
The past and present fallen join together to cushion the drops awaiting to embrace the earth.
