“And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.” - Abraham Lincoln

I am a dreamer. I see the world in a thousand ways; in vibrant colors, in shades of gray, as a loving place and as a monster. I dream the impossible and the improbable, I dream of colors that don’t exist and people I’ve never met. Dreaming is my escape; dreaming is how I cope. When all hope is lost, I dream and dream and dream.

I am a fighter. Screw the saying “I’m a lover not a fighter” because it’s a lie. You fight for something no matter who you are. I fight for myself and my values and I fight for others when they cannot. I fight for common sense, for justice and fairness and I fight for everyone and everything I love.

I am a daughter. I am part of a family where love is etched into everything we do and where smiles are plentiful. My family is my everything; they are part of my definition as a human being. As a daughter, I look out for my brothers, and do my best to bring joy into my home. I am a daughter who loves her family more than anything she knows.
