We are human

We wish To soar high in the air, yet we plummet.
We reach for sky high, yet we'll never reach.
We hide like cowards, yet still were found soon.
We stand like soldiers, yet we dwell in black.
We hope for wounds to heal, yet some never close.
We look for sights, yet we are always blind.
We rest peacefully, yet were always on edge.
