Remember
I remember that knock,
It was hard and loud,
I remember that uniform,
He did not look very proud,
I remember the tears,
Falling down his face,
I remember that hug,
Lasting what felt like a day,
As I hold his dog tags,
In my little child hand,
I don’t remember,
I can’t remember,
I could still hear that buggy tune,
But now all I hear are big bangs after a boom,
Wait I can still remember,
My brother is a hero,
Who still guards my room
