Man in a grey suit,
rather be blind than be a mute.

Shabby clothes,
and a warn out look.
Expression stoic,
yet obviously shook.

He dreams of words he never will say,
a message he fears he is yet to convey.

His pockets are empty,
and so is his heart.
But to his ambitions,
he never will part.

Yet sometimes age doesn't rot the soul,
and anger can not dissipate what time has stole.

As he is lowered into his new coffin home,
he realizes now,
he was never alone.

The author's comments:
I wrote this about two years ago in middle school. t was quite interesting to write something I didn't relate to one hundred percent, but I hope it is found entertaining and maybe eye opening for some. Thanks for reading!
