Alone
most days are bad ones.
i'm alone.
well i'm not completely alone
but i might as well be
they all leave.
the so called friends, the teachers
the people you keep so close to your heart that it hurts
one day they'll all disappear.
and one day they’ll all become another hazy memory
and you’ll be left asking yourself the same questions
over and over
because pushing them all away is always easier
a race of humans with such a desire to feel
but yet easier to feel when no one’s around
when there’s no one there to trick your mind into thinking everything’s okay
on the off chance someone will finally stay
but harder to mend the hole in your head
the pit of silence that follows
and that pain that sinks to the bottom of your stomach
and buries the happiness
that once displayed itself in your eyes
behind of wall of all that could of been.
