Do you know this girl Alexis?
Of course you don’t, she’s never been here
Is really is a shame.

I met her south of the boarder once
I miss that salty heat
And the rain.

Alexis seemed to fancy me
Too bad we had two weeks at most
It really was a shame

We sat on the deck of our catamaran
The moonlight cut through the warm mist of the sea
It felt like a dream
She was nothing but magnificent.

What ensued after that first kiss
Are actions that should never leave my lips

We were alone in this paradise
And she was the one that took the chance

But I succumb to temptations itch
When opportunity persists

It’s funny how I can’t recall
A conversation after this
That really was a shame

I curse myself and my childish urges
One thing gained for two things lost
Ecstasy can still cause pain
Isn’t that a shame?

Her form and figure still yet linger
In place of a place I should remember.

So many sights I should have seen
So much world I would have lived

She left without a second glance
And suddenly I sought that past

So now I stand here solemnly
She sits in my mind like a festering sore
Don’t sell yourself to one night stands

Because they’re a serious shame.
