I could see it in their eyes.
They hate me,
They wish I was dead.

I'm the problem child.
I'm the mistake.
They don't understand me,
I'm the one they hate.

No matter what I do,
No matter how hard I try,
They still hate me.
Deep inside.

I'm a shame to them.
I'm a lost bet.
I'm a child...
That should be dead.

This poem is about teens feelings towards their parents when they feel unwanted or feel like a burden.
