Gamers
I am a gamer.
I am unknown.
I am mysterious to people who don’t know me;
Who wonder what I do all night.
I am a gamer.
I have my hands on my controller,
Eating junk food while fighting thugs and gaining rewards
Drinking copious amounts of soda
And refusing to do any homework.
I am a gamer,
Who sits at his computer all night,
Mining for treasures,
One block more, the same routine,
That has been going for hours.
I am a gamer
Who plays with others like me,
Co-op, multiplayer, PVP are all in our language.
We can play forever and never get bored.
I am a gamer who can’t stop.
Games are my life,
Essential, all I ever care about.
However,
I may be a gamer,
But I am human just like you.
I make mistakes.
I have to eat, drink, go to school, work and survive.
Games are just an escape,
To a world where I can be free to be myself.
Yes, I am a gamer.
But I have a life, too
