We are nerds.
We act like the smartest person in the world
We can have a conversation about all that we know
Like boys talk about video games

We like to curl up in warm, huge piles of blankets
On a soft, squishy couch
And read a 1000 page Sci-fi novel till 3:00 a.m.

We are nerds.
We can talk about our GPA from daybreak to nightfall
A 4.0 GPA is not high enough for us
Like we need it to survive

We are nerds.
Our rooms full of books
Covering every inch of wall space possible
No one would ever believe that we liked to read

We are nerds.
We wear glasses, no makeup,
And don’t care about our appearances
Instead of buying expensive clothes, wearing a bunch of makeup,
And looking for relationships

We are nerds.
We are not all that stereotypes everywhere
Crack us out to be
We like to go to parties and do additional hobbies and sports
Just like everyone else

We are nerds.
Sure we have a reputation of never failing
And becoming the most successful,
But we also need help in times of desperation
And can fail just like everyone else
