Summer Days
A day at the beach
Is a very exciting day.
It is a day full of volleyball and water polo.
Feet moving swiftly
Through the fine sand.
The sun is up high
Impersonating a big gold coin.
But don’t stare too long
You might end up blind.
The refreshing blue sea
Which runs for miles and miles
Is filled with worry free kids
And overwhelmed parents.
A day at the beach
Can go by very quickly.
We pack up the car
And head towards the exits.
It is a quiet ride home
As we are all exhausted.
It is a long ride home
With our sun burns and tans.
