Splashing onto paper
washed away by only water
Ink not set in stone
Carvings, carvings
Chiseled into rock
Wind and time will make them fade
Stone not absolute
Harsh words, cruel words
Gouged into my soul
Hearts will often never heal
Scars are immortal
