Oh, Jack
What a trickster you were
Smashing pumpkins.
With a devilish grin
The plague of the town.
Creating furious townsfolk
You never stopped chuckling.
Oh, Jack
Oh, Jack
Now look at you.
On my porch
With a face of mischief
Formed by mu own will.
Startling those who approach.
Oh, Jack
Oh, Jack
Your face melts in the flame
The vexatious eyes you have
Glaring into my soul.
As your body sears in the fire
I laugh manically
A vague reminder
That you’re still here.
