Lost...

I strayed from the well-known path,
A choice many choose not to follow;
But I followed my heart instead of my head,
And ended up in a world of nightmares and delusional reality,
Falling through the crater and plummeting down the rabbit hole.
Though I misplaced myself long ago,
Before I deviated to the cruel state I am in now,
I have one notion that remains with me:
Life isn’t worth it when you play by the rules.
