Her Love

Her loden eyes endless and brilliant

Her bottom lip full and red

The slope of her nose and the fall of her chin

Her voice a kind of softness unmatched

Her smile sweetly rendered and weakening me

Her voice a laugh of beauty and muse song

Her presence enchanting

She is passion and love from her effuses

An allure unexplainable but so divinely right

A draw so profound as an answer

To a life examined and left incomplete

Searching for closure and solidarity in another

Her soul and her being

Her beauty leaves me lost

I have loved her

My thoughts and my glance

And my word unspoken

Afraid of her an effulgence of divinity

She is my love

She none the wiser

And she escapes me
