"Too weird to live, too rare to die"

Sad story, tragic end

A short life ended before it could begin

Lonely girl, silent eyes

Half truths, bitter lies

Scarred and bruised

Beaten and abused

She walks with her head down

Hoping not to be seen,

Still she is the subject of discussion

People cruel and mean

Pain consumes her and she embraces it

Takes the tragic life she lives and faces it

Suddenly then it becomes to much

Staring down, contemplating the blade in her clutch

This is the end of all her pain

But if she does it, what will remain?

A memory, a hollow shell

Secrets kept, she’d never tell

Say goodbye and take the blade

This is now the end, a choice has been made
No more pain, no more sorrow
No more time spent, dreading tomorrow
Your soul has been purged, your sins absolved
What was once a problem, now is solved

I wrote this piece one day after talking to one of my friends and she encouraged me to get my feelings out.
