You tell me to ‘stay away from them’
But I say ‘no’
You give me a look that may get me in trouble
I ask ‘why I should they are my friends’
You say ‘they are weird and I need to hang out with normal people’
Again I ask ‘why these people are my friends’
‘And if I don’t talk to them they will think that they did something for me not to be talking to them’
‘And I don’t want to do that’
‘Have you seen the people you hang out with?’
‘Yes and what’s wrong with the people I hang out with’
‘Honey they are weird. One of your friends wants to get snake bites whatever those are, a tattoo and she wants to die here beautiful blonde hair black. Now you tell me how that isn’t weird.’
‘It’s not weird it’s just what she wants and you can’t do anything about it. You can’t tell her that she can’t do that because you aren’t her mom.’
She had this mad look on her face that made me think I was going to be in double the trouble if I didn’t shut up.
Silence filled the den that you could hear a pin drop and make the tiniest little clink sound
You say ‘fine hang out with who want to but if you end up like them then don’t come crying to me’
‘Don’t even got here because I have known these people since last year and you see that I’m still fine’
‘Now if you have anything nice to say please tell me and don’t give me all of these negative comments about my friends just because they aren’t the popular people’
She didn’t say anything after we got done fighting nor did she talk to me the rest of the night
