While the majority of my school is gone
Sunrays slashed through hazy fog
searching for the ground to rest.
Deciduous trees mocked their shadows.
The wind led the forest bees and
found ease on a flowerbed.
A beetle makes harmony with hickory leaves.
A tree trunk was forced to find satisfaction
in an area of grass where ants worked:
he’ll be there for a while.
As the day goes on, the sun grows
jealous of the existence underneath it,
she gains attention
by blowing away the clouds
and shouting look here!
becoming a manifestation of
blazing bliss and shining salvation.
One received another chance at life,
breaking from its cocoon,
and off to seek nirvana.
