Day to day everything’s the same
Day to day life keeps going

Adults keep working

Children keep learning

Families keep fighting
Over meaningless things

Day to day we get mad
Day to day we wish someone was dead

A man complains about his boss

A child hates her homework

A family tears itself apart
Over meaningless things

But did you know
Day to day people are dying
Day to day children are crying

Because of their religion

Because of their ruler

Because of their voice
For meaningful things
